The Pegasus 360 models, including the Pegasus 50.21 rotating telehandler, are designed to travel and lift with maximum stability and safety on level ground and off-road. An excellent selflevelling system, adaptive loading software and programmable height and slew limiters, eliminate the risks caused by difficult ground and site conditions.
The Pegasus family of rotating telehandlers outperforms other telehandlers in terms of reach, thanks to the turret rotation. The wide range of available attachments allow customers to perform the functions of a telehandler, a crane and an aerial platform with just a single machine: the whole construction site in the customer’s hands.
The Dieci Pegasus 50.21 features 360° rotation, a maximum reach of 20.5 metres with a maximum lifting capacity of 5000kgs. Bob Mules, National Sales Manager, Dieci Australia discusses the versatility of the Pegasus 360° range.

360° CONTINUOUS ROTATION
This unique design allows the machine to rotate a full 360 degrees from a fixed position, enabling it to pick and place loads in a complete circle without moving the entire machine covering up to an operating area of 1,034m².

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
The technological capabilities featured in the Pegasus 50.21 allows for all electronic control units to constantly monitor the machine’s systems, feeding information back to the fully integrated colour TFT instrument cluster. This cluster displays all vital information including engine RPM, travel speed and working boom configuration in real time, giving the operator all the feedback necessary to operate seamlessly and safely.
DIECI PEGASUS 50.21’S EASY MANOEUVRING
Enhanced soft motion system makes all boom movements easy to control, reducing speed on approaching the physical limits or in pre-alarm conditions. The hydrostatic transmission, complete with a servo controlled two speed gear box and constantly varying hydrostatic drive, guarantees top-end speed and low-end torque.
The Inching Pedal is an essential control that allows travel speed to momentarily slow down or come to a stop while still offering maximum power to boom functions to increase precision and productivity for delicate operations.
MAXIMUM SAFETY
The ROPS-FOPS approved cab is designed with a safety cell to provide maximum safety to the operator at all times. Dieci telehandlers comply with AS1418.19 / AS10896.1.
The ‘deadman sensor’, combined with operator presence sensor in the seat, prevents accidental operation.
Dieci Pegasus 50.21’s features height and slew limit technology that is designed to prevent collisions, and by setting operating limits in all directions, provide absolute precision for operators.
The Pegasus 50.21 also features great stability and precision, even at extreme heights, whilst travelling and lifting with total safety, both on wheels and on outriggers on level ground and off-road. The load capacity adjusts automatically according to the position of the outriggers and in the event of an overload, the system stops all aggravating movements.
MAXIMUM BOOM PRODUCTIVITY
The reinforced boom is made of high resistance steel with load sensing and flow sharing distributors that offer simultaneous movements for more efficient work.
Oscillation of the rear axle is automatically locked when the boom is raised and the turret is rotated more than 5°.
ABSOLUTE COMFORT WITH ITALIAN DESIGN AND STYLE
The Dieci Pegasus 50.21 features a combination of comfort and functionality. The large, curved windows of the cab offer a complete 360° outside view with uninterrupted visibility and integrated LED work lights allow better visibility at night. With soundproofing, an adjustable steering wheel (height and depth), storage compartments and various accessories such as the air suspension seat, enable operation in total comfort.
