Dieci Australia’s large-scale telehandler offering is about to grow with a new model, the Agri Max 72.10 GD, set to arrive in November 2026
Sometimes bigger is better when it comes to farm machinery, but Dieci Australia knows that size alone does not make a complete package.
This is why so much design work has gone into its latest telehandler model, the Agri Max 72.10 GD, and why Dieci Australia is excited by what it can bring to farmers who work in some of the nation’s most demanding environments.
Agri Max 72.10 GD boasts a 7,200kg maximum lift capacity and 9.5m lift height, impressive specifications which are complemented by a 125hp (93kW) engine and a 40km/h maximum speed.
Dieci Australia national sales manager Bob Mules says the Agri Max 72.10 GD will be an “exciting addition” to the manufacturer’s range once it arrives in the country from November.
“The Agri Max 72.10 GD gives larger farming operations the capacity to move serious loads without compromising the precision and versatility you need around the farm,” he says.
“It brings serious lifting capacity together with the control, manoeuvrability and operator comfort Australian agricultural customers expect from a modern high-capacity telehandler.”
Building on Success
Dieci telehandlers already have an established presence in the local market thanks to a range of impressive features which are also included on the Agri Max 72.10 GD.
One of these is the single compensation cylinder patented by Dieci, this is located inside the lifting ram ensuring the load on the boom is balanced at all times, thereby improving durability.
Its advanced telescopic boom is manufactured from high-strength steel, while there is also a side shift carriage for precise load positioning and accurate stacking of materials such as bales.
Accuracy is one area where Mules says the Agri Max 72.10 GD excels, highlighting the importance of precision to agricultural operations.
“It’s not just about how much a telehandler can lift, it’s how precisely the operator can control that load,” he says.
“The 145l/min hydraulic system, proportional joystick and integrated forward-neutral-reverse controls give the Agri Max excellent responsiveness for repetitive loading and handling applications.”
The four-in-one joystick enables the boom to be operated in one place for smoothness and functionality, while the integrated direction controls allow for quick and intuitive changes when required.
Agri Max 72.10 GD also features a two-speed servo-controlled gearbox and continuously variable transmission to deliver efficient travel speeds with exceptional low-speed torque.
An inching pedal allows travel speed to be reduced or stopped while full hydraulic power to the boom is maintained, something which provides greater precision during delicate work.
Comfort Focus
Australian farmers spend long days inside the cabins of their machinery while working in harsh conditions, making it paramount that a comfortable working environment is available.
This is where Mules believes the Agri Max 72.10 GD excels, highlighting this as a major step up from existing telehandlers.
“One of the biggest developments with the Agri Max 72.10 is the new Giugiaro Design cab,” he says.
“It’s spacious, comfortable and exceptionally well laid out, with excellent visibility and intuitive controls, all things that make a real difference when an operator is spending long days in the machine.”
Developed with renowned Italian design house Giugiaro, the cabin features a spacious interior and air suspension seat, along with an adjustable steering column, ergonomically positioned controls and large, curved windows that provide a 360-degree view of the working area.
Another feature of the Agri Max 72.10 GD is a reversible fan which automatically clears dust and debris from the radiator to maintain optimum cooling performance.
This fan is particularly valuable when working in hot and dusty environments such as Australian farms is another reason why Mules believes the latest model is suited to the needs of local customers.
“Australian agriculture can be incredibly demanding on machinery,” he says.
“Customers need equipment that can work long hours, handle heavy loads and perform reliably in tough conditions, and that’s exactly where we see the Agri Max 72.10 GD fitting into the market.”
