Zeus 38.10 GD Telehandler – Power and agility for maximum efficiency
Dieci Australia recently announced the release of the new Zeus 38.10 GD telehandler.

The new Zeus 38.10 GD features a 3, 800 kg and maximum reach of 9.6 m and strikes the perfect balance between power and agility and is designed to handle heavy loads in confined spaces, making it ideal for all applications.
The new model also features great power, excellent handling, precision movement control and sound proofing for absolute comfort. It also features three steering modes including two-wheel steer, four-wheel steer and crab steering.
The intelligently designed control layout, makes the Zeus 38.10 GD simple, intuitive and comfortable to use. It can also be fitted with a full range of accessories, making it an incredibly versatile machine.

Italian design, built for Australian conditions
A key feature of the new Zeus 38.10 GD is the Giugiaro Design (GD) cab which delivers a spacious cab with enhanced ergonomics and comfort. Increased legroom, 360° visibility and integrated LED work lights ensure excellent visibility day or night.
Large mirrors and camera systems provide complete site awareness.
The advanced control layout, intuitive dashboard and diagnostic display provide operators with clear machine feedback at all times. Advanced heating and climate control along with soundproofing and an air suspension seat, increases operator comfort all year round.
Equipped with an integrated electric driver’s window, heater and semi-automatic air conditioning system, the cabin provides effective air circulation and climate control for maximum operator comfort.
“One of the biggest changes operators will notice is the new GD cab. The improved visibility, 18 cm colour display, air-suspension seat and upgraded controls create a much more comfortable and intuitive working environment, particularly for operators spending long days in the machine,” said Bob.
Dieci telehandlers have always been a combination of comfort and functionality making them ideal for work environments where there is a need to handle large volumes and reduce work cycles. Maintenance is straightforward, with durable components and materials designed to last.
The new Zeus 38.10 GD features an advanced telescopic boom made of high resistance steel, while load sensing and flow sharing distributors allow for more simultaneous movements during operation.
The boom can be fully operated by the hydraulic control distributor-single joystick with proportional and simultaneous controls which also incorporates FNR, for easier and more practical direction control.
A single compensation cylinder, patented by Dieci, is located inside the lifting ram, and this ensures that the load on the boom is balanced at all times, thereby improving durability.
“With a 3,800 kg maximum capacity, 9.6 metre lift height and 6.2 metres of forward reach, the new Zeus 38.10 GD hits a very useful sweet spot for Australian contractors. It provides serious lifting capability and reach without moving into a much larger class of telehandler,” said Bob.
The new Zeus 38.10 GD will be powered by the 125 horsepower FPT Tier 3 engine and features an ‘Inching Pedal’ which is an essential control that allows travel speed to momentarily slow down or come to a stop while still offering maximum power to boom functions to increase precision and productivity for delicate operations.
“For Australia, the Zeus 38.10 GD will be powered by the 125 horsepower FPT Tier 3 engine. It gives us a strong, proven powertrain matched with hydrostatic transmission and the performance required across demanding construction, civil and materials-handling applications,” said Bob.
The new Zeus 38.10 GD also features a hydrostatic transmission complete with a servo controlled two-speed gear box and constantly varying hydrostatic drive, which guarantees top-end speed and low-end torque.
